Day Before Do or Die

Alright. Added more detail. Hat is more hatty. Added the wraps around his arms. Added the stars in the back. (I forgot to render with the stars on his back) Shaved off some baby fat off his face, to make him more teenager-like. Hair, fabric folds, kid polish, and polypainting tomorrow. HECK YA.

Need to model/sculpt FASTER!

Sadly, this guy isn't done yet. I spent alot of time modeling his shirt and hands in maya. I needed to keep the consistency of clean modeling that I did for everything else. Pretty much his entire body was made in maya, except for his flesh and his hair. Maybe thats why it took long. I'll be back with a finished model!

Wizard Progress

I am not done with the base model, but I figured, since most of his body is covered up by clothing, I would start the base modeling of his clothing now and refine the fleshy parts later. I also realized, that instead of modeling his collar in it's entirety, I would just model the contour shape of the collar. If I model it with it's area under the collar, I would have had to either, finish modelling it in Maya, or I would have had sort of a useless geometry once I took it back into Zbrush. So I will sculpt in fake concavity under his collar.

Character Model Update

Still needs fixin', but I like where this is going. I need to move on to my second character though this week, so I can't spend too much time with the fixes.

Oh the joys of having 2 characters for thesis.

Wizard Turnaround

The first drawing on the left was my initial design of him. But I've modified him to look more teenager (hopefully), and taller proportions to contrast with my my short and round headed Necromage Kid.
